Important Instructions for Applying Online for Diploma & Degree Courses and their Categories

Read all the Instructions Carefully:

1 Before applying Online, the candidate should read carefully Diploma & Degree Courses  Prospectus-2023 (which is available online at www.hstes.org.in). It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure eligibility for admission before applying for the course. If on verification at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility conditions for admissions in Diploma/ Degree Course, his/her candidature will be cancelled and the fee deposited by him/her shall be forfeited.
2 The application form for Diploma/ Degree courses of all categories shall be invited Online for the session 2023-24 and no physical/ offline application form will be accepted.
3 Submission of duplicate application is not allowed. The particulars of the candidate in the application must exactly be the same as registered in the Qualifying Exam. In case, if a candidate wants to correct/ update certain detail(s) submitted in his/ her online application form, same would be done up to the last date of online verification of online application form by HSTES. Further, the candidate may contact HSTES at Toll Free No. 1800-137-3735 or e-mail onlineadmissionhelp[at]gmail[dot]com for correction/ updation of certain detail(s) submitted in his/ her online application form during the specified period.
4 The details like name, father name, mother name, DOB, income, category etc. will be fetched automatically from PPP ID for Haryana Resident candidates and this information will remain in non-editable mode for the candidate. If there is any correction in candidate name/ father name/ mother name/ DOB/ income/ category then the candidate have to correct/ update and verify the same in the PPP ID first. And further have to contact the selected designated center by him/ her to re-verify his/ her registration form. When the designated center re-verify the application form the updated information in PPP ID will be auto updated in the online submitted registration form of the candidate and will be visible to the selected designated center of verification.
5 In case of correction in name of the candidate in PPP ID the candidate need to update Aadhar as per UIDAI process on https://uidai.gov.in/ first. Once user name is updated at Aadhar then user can login at PPP portal and can update family details on https://meraparivar.haryana.gov.in/FamilyDirect .If the particulars of the candidate are not correct or not as per qualifying document/ category etc. then he/ she will be responsible for cancelation of his/ her admission during the physical reporting at the institute.
6 All the Haryana Residents Candidates are advised to get their PPP ID updated, corrected and with verified status before signing up for the registration form.
7 To fill-in the Online Application Form, Tab Key can be used to jump from one item to another. In the Application Form, items marked with * are compulsory to be filled-in.
8 There are 7 steps to be followed for applying online :
  Step I: Sign-up and login for the Course for which you want to register. Fill in the Application Form.
  Step II: Fill in the other relevant details (category/ sub category/ PPP ID etc. )
  Step III: Upload Photo and Signature.
  Step IV: Fill up Marks/ Grades (whichever is applicable) of Qualifying Examination
  Step V: Confirm your filled-in registration details.
  Step VI: Upload the documents to verify the Registration details.
  Step VII: Deposit Registration Fee Online (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking).
9 On sign-up of online registration Form, Your Unique Registration Number will be flashed on the screen. The candidates should note down the Registration Number as same will be required for future communication. The candidate should remember his/her Registration Number & Password. It should not be shared with any other person due to security purposes.
10 After Sign-up, candidate shall login with the Registration No. and Password. Candidate should fill in the details as per the qualifying examination except the PPP ID candidates. The particulars of PPP ID candidates like name, father name, mother name, DOB, income, category etc. will be fetched automatically from PPP ID.
11 Eligible candidates can add the special categories i.e. HGST/ KM/ MAR/ SDB/ TFW/ EWS at the time of registration of application form. If the eligible candidate does not add the special category to his/ her application form, then same will not be added after confirmation of application form.
12 For confirming registration details, uploading of candidate's latest colored passport size Photo (30 KB) and Signature (30 KB) is compulsory.
13 The candidates shall upload the scanned copy of relevant documents (as per the details filled in application form) as and when required in PDF format of 100 KB for each document at the time of filling of online application form.
14 The Registration Fees shall be deposited by the candidate Online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Wallet/ UPI
15 After successful Verification & Confirmation/ Rejection of Online Filled Application Form, the candidate will get the Confirmation/ Rejection of application form through SMS/ E-mail from the website.
16 After submission of Registration Fee, candidate have to login with Unique Registration No. & Password. Upon login, candidate will be able to fill choices online. A candidate who has selected special category, will be able to fill choices for different Roll No’s i.e. General Roll No. & Special Category Roll No. (TFW/ EWS/ KM/ HGST/ SDB/ MAR) through same login.
17 While displaying the status of availability of seats, the number of seats available in a specific branch of an institution will be displayed as per eligibility/category. The non-availability of the seats in a branch of an institution and the seats/institution for which a candidate is not eligible will not be shown to him/ her.
18 Candidate will go to fill his/ her choices by clicking on Fill/Modify choice and fill his/ her Choices priority wise by clicking on add choice button (+) in left frame. Candidate should save the filled choices frequently.
19 The Verification Team at the concerned Designated Centre shall check the relevant documents online and accordingly shall verify online the marks of qualifying examination/ other particulars of the candidate in Online Filled Application Form.
20 In the event of verification of Application form by the Designated Centers, if the marks are updated/ corrected by the Designated Center then the choices filled by the candidate will be deleted and candidate shall fill the choices again for confirmation of seat.
21 Inter-se-Merit/ Rank is prepared only for those candidates whose documents were verified online after uploading of correct documents by the candidates. Note: The Documents uploaded should be in readable form. Candidate should ensure the clarity while uploading the same.
22 The Candidate will not be informed about any activity by post. It is solely your responsibility to check web site for all activities.
23 It is advisable for the candidates to register your personal mobile number and email addresses for future correspondence, if any.
24 Any incorrect information submitted by the candidate may lead to disqualification. Candidate will be solely responsible for discrepancy (if any) in the application.
